The innocence of 3!

One thing I get to do that I SO enjoy is to photograph my niece and nephew. Last week I met up with Heidi to take some pictures of Kate being the essence of her little 3 year old self. Every minute of it was so stinkin adorable! She was so good with the camera... I kept thinking, "Wow, this is amazing!"

If I get 3 good images of Jackson in the span of an hour I'm lucky, let alone tons of great ones like this.

So here are some of my favs.

Vintage Stephanie

First off I must say, I am so sorry that this never got posted. Stephanie had decided to do a photo shoot of herself in her mom's wedding dress as a gift to her mom. So I needed to keep it hush hush for the time; then somehow I just forgot to post these once it was safe.

So here are a few images from our time in Old Town Orange.

Baby Boy Dylan

So, remember how I was just talking about re-connecting with old friends and having the privilege of shooting their families... well here is another one. Michael and I became friends back in high school, and now he is married and just welcomed his first child!

It was so much fun to meet his super sweet wife Sarah and their adorable & well-behaved :) baby boy Dylan. He did such a great job being a baby model for me!! Even at 4 weeks old, which is a tad old for this type of shoot (2 weeks is optiml for anyone out there planning) he rocked it like a star!

One of the greatest things about facebook has been not only reconnecting with old friends, but actually getting the chance to do photography for them. I've had the privilege of doing weddings, family, and newborn sessions for old grade school and high school friends. This little one is the new baby daughter of a friend from grade school and high school Nicole.

Ellis the Rocker

The little man is here! Some of our close friends Aaron & Mandi, just recently welcomed their son Ellis Kendrick into their family. I am smitten... he is quite cute, and I just love his rocker hair do! He's got the natural hawk... how awesome is that?!?
