Friday night at The Lab

Last night Sarah and I met up with Josh down at The Lab for his Senior Sesh; dude brought his "A" game- check 'em out!

"Take this thing off of any sweet jumps?" "You got like 3 feet of air!" (in a Napoleon Dynamite voice) - seriously though, he pulled a some awesome moves...

Friday Night at The Lab Part II

So, Sarah and I have known Emily for a couple of years now and I can honestly say she is one of the most polite, sweet girls we know. We were so stoked to shoot her senior session- and I have to say... she brought the Sass!

Towards the end of the day the sun was amazing! We had a slight marine layer that was literally "adjusting" the light for each shot.

Em- you were so fun to shoot; it was great to see you and your mom again- don't go away too far to college!

Curls, knuckles, and silly laughter.

That about sums up this session for me. Curls and laughter... makes sense after you see the images, but knuckles??? Well Derek kept putting his fist out to "pound it" or do "knuckles" and his reaction to their hit just made the kids crack up... it was priceless!

This little fam is SO stinkin adorable... it can barely be contained in these images! Johnnie, her two precious kids, CJ (the helpful Starbucks carrying assistant- cousin), Derek, and I all tooled around Orange laughing, running, skipping and capturing the kids just being kids.

I liked so much from this shoot, so get comfy....

She is such a doll.. and I must point out that Ryen picked out her outfit.

We were all taking turns telling knock knock jokes, really bad ones, by the way... and I just love how easily amused little kids are!

Aaah... the River Bed

Last night I met up with 2 super sweet girls in Yorba Linda for some more senior fun!

First up...Cailey. Her and her mom were such troopers as we hiked up and down hills and over the railroad tracks looking for good spots to shoot. Here's some of the great spots we found...

Derek and I went to the flea market in Pasadena a few weeks ago and got some steals and deals for our home, but we also picked up this awesome chair to use for shoots... love it!
