The Kiddos in Huntington Central Park

We recently took the kids for a fun little afternoon in Huntington Central Park. We ate lunch at the Park Bench Cafe, which if you haven't been, it is a cute little place to eat where all the tables are outside in the park. It is also a dog friendly place, so if you don't like dogs, be warned now; but if you do... like my kids do, you'll have a great time. All through lunch we got the play by play by Jackson on what the dogs were doing, "The dog is really thirsty, that dog ate his food, the dog is licking his leg, etc, etc."
then we had a little impromptu photo shoot with the kids. Unfortunately my kids happened to be kinda matching, like I advise my clients NOT to do. It is always more fun to have color, pattern, and personality to your wardrobe choices for your shoot. But, regardless of that we still managed some really fun shots of our kids.
Derek took most of these great images, while I peeked out from behind his back and made silly faces.

J is a big 3 year old now, so grown up!RayRay was of course the adventurer who climbed up on the table first.
Oh, I heart these next 2 shots.my pretty girl
Being all cute here...but that quickly turned into this...Yep, that is so typical of them... Jackson will start dragging Ray along, she just wants to be loving and hug on him, and BAM... knocked on her butt, while J walks away smiling!

But he is a super sweet boy at heart.
Aaahh... a fun day.

Update: Wife, you forgot to mention the dog that nipped Jackson's arm and it's non-responsive owner that I wanted to "have a word with."

First off, it was a pleasure meeting you both at the FEO. Your kids are gorgeous. I love the last one of you kissing your son. The bokeh is killer. Precious photos to cherish forever.

Gorgeous stuff! But, as the oldest sibling in my family, I can totally relate to and appreciate the war series. I can just see Jackson brushing off his hands in victory. Too funny!!!

Babe- you are right, I left out that part. You wanted to do a litlte more than "have a word with her."
Mia- Thanks!
JJ- You are so right... Jackson does walk away in victory... then he gets a time out.
Troy- Yep it is time... They may be cute, but spend a day with them and it's great birth control!
