Jackson is 3!

Well our baby boy is 3! Well, he's actually been 3 for about a month now, but we had a little party for him later in the month; so I'm just now getting a chance to share some pics from the day.

We decided to go with "Jackson's Favorite Things" as the theme for the day, so it was complete with firetrucks, 'Yo Gabba Gabba', hot dogs, cookies, cars, and of course family and friends!

First we went to the fire station and had a tour, which was a blast!! And I must mention that my amazing hubby captured the majority of these adorable images... you rocked it out Babe!

Jackson was a little shy at first.

The captain was this totally burly guy with a deep voice, who would say to the kids, "Come on over her and get deputized!" The kids were a bit intimidated by him (Jackson made me come with him every time he went up front), but it was seriously so cute seeing them get their hats and badges from the fire fighters.

At one point he said he needed a grunt man for his crew. Someone strong and tough. He pointed out Everett and said, "Yep you'll be perfect, with your big arms and those fat legs!" Hilarious!

Check out our little firefighter!

Now the best part... They had the kids unroll the hose, and "fight a fire!"

Love these next 2 shots!

After they had the fire out, they huddled in for a "Go Team!"

And like usual our best attempts at a group shot with lots of kids ends up something like this...

And now for some presents!

And cookies decorated by the kids. Jackson got a little excited over the yellow sprinkles!

Thanks to all of Jackson's friends for being there (and their Mommies and Daddies too)! Jackson kept saying to me, "Mom, this is so fun!" all through out the day! Gotta love that when they get old enough to start expressing their happiness!
Jackson, we are so proud of the boy you are becoming; we love you buddy!
